“Dark Sky Park” certification was awarded in 2017 to the islands of Møn and Nyord because it is an area with very little light pollution. Being surrounded by the night life of nature and a dark sky undisturbed by artificial light gives you an intense experience.
Dark Sky Møn
When daylight changes to darkness, nature's scene changes, both for plants and animals. Changes in sounds, smells, temperature and light heighten the senses of both animals and humans. The same change takes place from darkness to dawn.
